At Magaras Asia, we follow a structured and proven process that enables Mediterranean Food & Beverage and Wine & Spirits brands to successfully enter and expand in Southeast Asia. This region is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing markets for premium culinary and beverage experiences, yet it remains highly fragmented, with distinct consumer preferences and regulatory landscapes across countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Brands need more than a distributor, they need a strategic partner who can act as their commercial office and one-stop agency in the region.

As a One-Stop Food & Beverage Agency, we manage the entire journey: from brand scouting and selection, to representation agreements, to strategic launches during major regional culinary events such as the Southeast Asia Gourmet & Beverage Showcase, and finally to ongoing sales, logistics, and market development. Our role goes far beyond simple introductions. We represent the brands we select, act as their ambassadors, and ensure they reach the right importers, distributors, hospitality groups, premium retailers, e-commerce platforms, and duty-free operators.

Our Approach

Below are the steps we follow to select the brand partners we work with.

Step 1 – Brand Selection

We identify Food & Beverage brands with strong appeal for Southeast Asia. Key buyers preview selections ahead of time, then connect directly with producers during our curated tasting events.

 

Step 2 – Representation Agreement

Once chosen, we serve as your regional partner. With a formal representation agreement, we operate as your commercial office in Southeast Asia, handling sales, negotiations, and day-to-day operations.

Step 3 – Strategic Launch at SEA Fashion Week

The Mediterranean Food & Wine Week is our flagship B2B tasting event and the official launchpad for new brands. We also organize other events to let buyers experience products firsthand, tasting and evaluating them directly with producers.

Step 4 – Buyer Engagement & Feedback

After the Events, we gather buyer insights and swiftly move into commercial negotiations. We organize shipments, tastings, pop-ups, and private events to test each product and expand its reach across the market.

Step 5 – Market Entry & Growth

We oversee the entire growth process: from logistics and distribution to retail activations and marketing campaigns. From gourmet stores to e-commerce, from duty-free channels to tasting corners, we deploy a strategy that preserves brand value and generates real commercial results.
